VAGINAL pH TEST is useful for anyone who wants to check for abnormal vaginal pH values, a symptom of one or more possible ongoing infections. Vaginal infections in particular can be very risky for pregnant women, endangering both the mother and the fetus. For this reason the symptoms and results obtained with this test should always be discussed with a doctor.

Insert the swab into the vaginal cavity and gently press it for about 10 seconds, then remove it;
Wipe the swab onto the dedicated area present on the test cassette;
Immediately read the result, by comparing the color of the sample well with the color chart provided.

What happens if the results reading time is not met? The test has been carried out correctly when the instructions for use are followed. It includes the reading time and the interpretation of the results shown at the "RESULTS INTERPRETATION" section of the instructions for use.

Is it possible to take the test at any time? No, it isn’t. There are limitations to the use of the test, as some circumstances may temporarily alter the vaginal pH level: refer to the “LIMITATIONS” section of the instructions for use 

Vaginal pH refers to the acidity or alkalinity level of the vaginal environment. While the normal range of vaginal pH falls within the acidic range of 3.8 to 4.5, its disturbances may
indicate vaginal infections or other conditions.
What if the test indicated an abnormality in vaginal pH?
-If your vaginal pH falls beyond the norm, and/or you experience symptoms such as unusual discharge, itching, or discomfort, it is essential to consult a healthcare professional who will order proper treatment, depending on the infection type.
-Take probiotics. Incorporating probiotics into your diet or using probiotic supplements can help support the growth of bacteria in the vaginal area, and, in consequence, improving its pH.
-Avoid using harsh soaps or douches that can disrupt the natural pH balance. Instead, go for mild, fragrance-free products that have been dermatologically tested.
-Never ignore the symptoms of vaginal infection or abnormal pH. Take steps to minimise the impact of infection on your health and balance.
